Girls, child labourers, and refugees are fleeing the Taliban, but there is nowhere for them to go. These are the forgotten children who are being given a second chance to learn at Children in Crisis‘ emergency education centres in Kabul.
Here, they are given an opportunity to take back their future through education. They learn the full six years of primary school in three.
OTR travelled to the permanent settlements of these displaced families on the outskirts of Kabul and worked with students, families, teachers and social workers to document their lives through film in order to raise awareness and funds for CiC.
